Here’s an interesting survey conducted by Aweber, a leading company in web-based email marketing software. They asked nearly 1,500 small business owners and marketers to find out who they are, how they market, and what they’ll focus on in 2014.

Interesting data, but I think the numbers are a bit biased. What else would you expect when an email marketing company is surveying their own customers? I also find it odd that they didn’t even include SEO or PPC as options to online marketing. Still, there are a few things you can take away from this infographic:
- The fact that most small business owners still do most of the marketing on their own.
- Email marketing is still one of the most effective forms of online marketing.
- More small businesses are starting to engage with customers via social media.
